Pagenaud was very good, and just a teensy bit smarter than Rossi. I thought for sure Rossi was gone , but nope!

I think Rossi was right on about the HP deficit between Honda and Chevy. He didn’t need a draft to pass, amazing. And w ho knows how much more downforce the Penske was running? Simon was not even using the whole track whereas Alexander looked to be on a knife’s edge.
In the alternative to a h p advantage , the Honda was acknowledged to have better economy. So had the wreck not happened at lap 180, it might have been Simon who would have been crying the blues....
All the more sad that Alonzo wasn’t there with the bow tie brigade . Now that would have been interesting if Fernando had been part of the last four laps....
